My pronouns are she/her
I hold a bachelor's degree in aquaculture and a master's degree in marine science, which gradually led me to discover my interest in animal behavioral ecology. Currently, I am developing automated, high-throughput experimental systems to investigate how zebrafish use optic flow, a visual cue generated by their own movement, to navigate their surroundings. By combining behavioral assays with advanced tracking and control systems, I aim to uncover the sensory strategies fish use in motion perception. This work has the potential to inform both fundamental understanding of animal navigation and practical applications in aquaculture and environmental monitoring.
