The John Krebs Field Station (JKFS) is a University of Oxford research facility located in Wytham village, approximately 5km north-west of the Life and Mind Building. Connected by the ST2 bus service, research at the JKFS focuses on the behavioural, physiological and biomechanical factors that shape animal behaviour and performance. Field investigations in ecology are further supported by the proximity of the JKFS to the Wytham Woods.

The site Facilities Manager is Phil Smith, and the site Animal Care manager is Lucy Giles. We have a dedicated team of support and professional services staff.
