My MBiol research focuses on investigating the demography of grey seal populations in the Isles of Scilly and Farne Islands. I will use UAVs and 3D photogrammetry to obtain body size estimates for individual seals and use this data to build inverse population models, allowing the impact of specific threats these seal populations face to be simulated.
