I am an MSc by Research student interested in the epigenetic regulation of thermoinhibition of seed germination. Primarily, my research investigates the role of RNA-directed DNA methylation within seed thermoinhibition and how it mediates other regulatory mechanisms, through the profiling of small RNAs and DNA methylation.

My research is conducted using Arabidopsis, but an aim of this research is to provide transferable knowledge to crop species in order to help combat current global issues such as climate change and agricultural stress.
