My research focuses on identifying and validating new drug targets as well as developing strategies to overcome drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, with the broader aim of advancing shorter, safer and more effective TB treatments. Working closely with industry partners, my group integrates genetics, chemical biology and metabolomics to accelerate early-stage drug discovery. I have extensive experience of target deconvolution across infectious diseases and hold a dual affiliation with the Ineos Oxford Institute and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
I'm also an Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
