Research Interests

My research investigates how environmental change shapes sexual selection and reproductive fitness. I study how ageing and thermal stress interact to influence pre- and post-copulatory traits—such as mating signals and sperm quality—in ectotherms. By combining behavioural and computational approaches, I aim to uncover how these factors affect the dynamics of mate choice, signalling, and reproductive success, and what this reveals about the resilience of sexual selection under climate change.
