Coming from an ethology background, I am interested in behavioural ecology, evolutionary biology and conservation questions. For my Master's thesis, I worked on the evolution of filial cannibalism in teleost fishes during parental care.
At the Mathematical Ecology research group, I am working on the evolution of parental care in variable environments, a project especially relevant in the context of climate change. Indeed, parental care can be central for the survival of certain species, and the results of this project could have the potential to be very important for conservation purposes as well as broaden our understanding of the impact of environmental variations caused by climate change on animal species behaviours.
