Research Interests

My pronouns are he/him

My main research area of interest is antimicrobial resistance: more specifically, the evolution of resistance mechanisms and the genetic variation within bacterial populations that drive this. I will be working in close collaboration with an industry partner to investigate the risk of resistance emerging to novel antimicrobials.

My research aims to impact how novel antimicrobials are screened for risk of resistance and selected for development, saving time and money, as well as producing antimicrobials that will last as long-term therapeutics.
