My research interest is in understanding what influences aquatic biodiversity. My PhD will explore how aquatic invertebrates, in marine and freshwater wetlands, respond to and recover from pulsed multiple stressors, such as a heatwave or chemical spill. I will investigate this using a combination of fieldwork, experimental and demographic modelling approaches. I am particularly interested and excited to use my research to develop species conservation and recovery programmes for at-risk invertebrates in the UK.
