I am a DPhil student under the supervision of Drs Tim Guilford and Oliver Padget in the Oxnav group. My research will focus on Pelagic seabird navigation and foraging strategies, using GPS-tracking technologies, meta-data analyses. These studies on wide ranging seabirds will shed light on navigational strategies used by other birds and will allow better understanding of Human-Bird interactions, of which I am most interested in the impact of fishing and offshore wind.
