My research interests focus on the links between ecology and insect behaviour, I’m intrigued by how interactions between organisms can shape the natural world and how an organisms behaviour can evolve in response to its environment. My DPhil project investigates how complexity of the artificial environment affects the behaviour and fitness of parasitoid wasps. This has key implications for understanding the quality of data in past studies which utilised insect models, and the efficiency in using parasitoids as biological control agents.
