My DPhil research looks at how the biodiversity crisis interacts with increasing global instability, particularly focussing on the interaction between armed conflict and nature degradation. Over the course of my DPhil, I hope to increase awareness of the risks posed to the global order by biodiversity loss, and identify ways key actors can move to proactively prevent such loss. My work is supervised by Prof. Amy Dickman and Dr Ewan Macdonald, and funded by the Recanati-Kaplan Minerva Institute.

Prior to my DPhil, I completed a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford, and an MSc in Ecology and Data Science at UCL.
