My research is focussed on understanding the fundamental mechanisms underlying antimicrobial resistance (AMR), particularly in Mycobacterium tuberculosis which causes the deadly disease tuberculosis. Using genomic datasets, protein structures and molecular dynamics simulations, I aim to understand the structure, dynamics and function of proteins associated with AMR, thereby aiding antibiotic design.
