My pronouns are she/her

I am a DPhil student in Biology and a Lead Epidemiologist in the Gastrointestinal Infections, Food Safety and One Health Division at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). My project is a collaboration between Oxford University and UKHSA, aiming to better understand the burden of Campylobacter in England, the most common cause of bacterial gastroenteritis worldwide. The focus will be integration of whole genome sequencing data into national surveillance, with a special interest in antimicrobial resistance and health inequalities.

At UKHSA, I am the national lead for Campylobacter, norovirus and have previously worked on Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli and assessing the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on surveillance of gastrointestinal pathogens.
