My pronouns are he/him

My research interests center on bacterial genomics and antimicrobial resistance (AMR), particularly in understanding how genomic variation shapes resistance emergence and transmission in bacterial pathogens. My previous work has integrated whole-genome sequencing, metagenomics, and transcriptomic analyses to investigate the genetic determinants of resistance in pathogens including Campylobacter, Providencia, and other diarrheal organisms. I am fascinated by integrating large-scale genomic datasets with systems-level insights to understand pathogen biology and resistance mechanisms.

Methodologically, I am committed to leveraging computational genomics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to extract meaningful biological insights from complex high-throughput data. Previously, I have developed machine learning tools for biomarker discovery and built robust NGS analysis pipelines for genome assembly, variant calling, and network analysis. I am particularly interested in combining these computational approaches with genomic and experimental investigation to advance our understanding of bacterial evolution and resistance.
