I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Preston lab, where I investigate how temperature fluctuations influence the virulence and stress tolerance of Xanthomonas species responsible for bacterial spot disease in pepper and tomato. Before joining the Preston lab, I worked on a range of research projects in plant–microbe interactions, from investigating virulence determinants in Pseudomonas syringae pathovars to developing innovative plant protection strategies using virus-like nanoparticles.
