I am interested in the evolutionary and ecological dynamics of emerging RNA viruses, with a particular focus on how environmental and host factors shape viral spread and adaptation. My research combines phylodynamic and quantitative modelling approaches to study patterns of virus movement and diversification. For my DPhil project, I will be integrating ecological and epidemiology data with evolutionary inferences to understand the emergence and persistence of bunyaviruses!
