I am a macroecologist focused on (1) advancing Ecological Niche Theory, (2) understanding Global Change Ecology, and (3) developing Spatial Models & Methods. I completed my PhD at the National University of Singapore. My work stretches from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia to the grassy meadows and woodlands of Europe, where I have developed methods to better model and analyse species distributions and conducted scenario-based assessments of biodiversity outcomes under future global changes, including rewilding scenarios.

I am a Marie Curie fellow at the SalGo Team. My work here sits at the intersect of niche theory and demography, where I seek to amalgamate their concepts and methodologies under one framework: the demographic niche concept. This framework will enhance our understanding of range-wide population dynamics, providing the foundation for understanding how and why populations persist (or go extinct) under climate change, across both space and time.
