I am a passionate conservationist and researcher, committed to advancing human-wildlife coexistence in some of the world’s most biodiverse regions. My DPhil research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of China's national parks and their role in supporting the Global Biodiversity Framework. By assessing conservation policies and practices, my work aims to inform strategies for global biodiversity protection.
Prior to my time at Oxford, I worked extensively in China, addressing topics such as biodiversity monitoring, human-wildlife conflict, ecotourism, citizen science, and urban ecosystem recovery. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches that integrate nature and human to achieve sustainable conservation outcomes.
