My DPhil project focuses on utilising structural biology techniques to explore the identity, composition and function of membrane transport complexes in the chloroplast outer envelope membrane.
These complexes are essential for chloroplast function and photosynthesis. Therefore, elucidating their structure and mechanisms will likely have implications for future optimisation of crop productivity.
