My pronouns are she/her
I coordinate team operations, research activities and outreach at the Nature-based Solutions Initiative (NbSI). This includes managing key resources such as our Case Study platform, which showcases best-practice examples of nature-based solutions (NbS), and our interactive Bibliography. I also lead our communications, working to maximise the reach and impact of NbS research through content creation across multiple channels. In addition, I facilitate our Nature-based Solutions to Global Challenges executive education programme.
In 2024, I organised the NbS Conference 2024 – a hybrid event with over 800 delegates – which brought together different knowledge systems, disciplines and world views to co-develop an action plan for NbS to drive positive social-environmental change.
I hold an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Biology from the University of Bristol. My master’s research focussed on strategies for ecologically robust governance of the new Biodiversity Net Gain policy in England, and has since been used by academics and practitioners. My primary interest lies in transforming our food systems to nurture both people and biodiversity. With extra training in food systems analysis and ecological economics, I apply a systems-thinking lens throughout my work, and am dedicated to promoting equitable nature-based solutions for social and environmental wellbeing.
