Following a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and Genetics, I worked as a senior scientist in healthcare institutes, focusing on detecting and identifying SARS-CoV-2 variants. In July 2022, I joined the Peter Medawar Building for Pathogen Research at the University of Oxford as a postdoctoral researcher on a project investigating specific regions within the hemagglutinin epitopes of human influenza viruses, including H3, H5, and influenza B lineages. Promising candidates from this work could form the basis of a future flu vaccine. I am currently a visiting researcher in the Department of Biology.
