Research Interests

I am currently a 2nd year DPhil student supervised by Prof. Timothy Walsh in the department of Zoology, University of Oxford. I’ve been studying Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) for about 4 years. I am currently working on the Ineos Oxford Institute for Antimicrobial Research (IOI) programme A, which aims to withdraw all the human antibiotics used on animals. Accordingly, to develop several candidate compounds for use in animals through in-vivo studies. In addition, I am also studying the prevalence of mcr-related colistin resistance in Laos, which I started at the beginning of my PhD in the School of Medicine, Cardiff University. I very much appreciate and enjoy being part of such an excellent team. AMR is a huge global issue and I hope we can make a change on it while we still can.
