My research mainly focuses on analyzing the role and significance of interspecific hybridization on species diversification of oaks and seabuckthorn. I also focus on the genetic diversity and identification of germplasm resources in fruit crop, such as seabuckthorn and olive. Recent years, I am interested in sex determination and sex chromosomes evolution in seabuckthorn (Hippophae), particularly interested in role of sex chromosome evolution influence interspecific hybridization of seabuckthorn in the QTP regions.
