Dr Robert Heathcote

Research Interests

I'm a behavioural ecologist with particular interests in the behavioural and sensory ecology of predator-prey interactions and animal communication, particularly in the strategies that predators and prey use to outwit one another and the repercussions this has on social behaviour, colouration and cognition. My work is largely multidisciplinary, combining field and lab-based experiments and observational work with methods across computer vision, robotics, and visual psychology.
