I am interested in exploring the impact of genomic variation, particularly that of transposons, on complex brain functions such as learning and memory. Utilising the fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster), this research involves combining single cell transcriptomics on the fly brain with behavioural tests.
Before joining the Treiber Lab, I completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with a major in Biomedicine at Karolinska Institutet.
