Research Interests

My main interest is in the evolution of cooperation and other social behaviours, and how they persist given the possibility of cheating and exploitation. During my PhD I used a combination of theoretical and experimental work to investigate the evolution of strategic social behaviour in the social ameoba Dictyostelium discoideum. In 2020 I joined the West group, where I will be focussing on using a combination of theory and molecular population genetics to study social evolution and the signatures it leaves at the genomic level.
