Research Interests
My pronouns are he/him

I am a Junior Research Fellow at Trinity College where my research centres around the biology of photosynthesis in plants. Currently, my work is largely interested in applying evolutionary analyses to answer important questions about how photosynthesis functions, how it has been adapted across different species, and how it might be further optimised in future. Building upon this mechanistic insight, I am also interested in developing translational approaches to engineer enhanced photosynthesis. Overall, my research therefore spans fundamental and applied biology and has potential implications for food security as well as understanding plant responses to climate change.

I am always open to collaboration and discussion – so please do get in touch by email!
