My research interests primarily surround animal behaviour and the cognitive mechanisms involved as animals execute seemingly complex tasks. For my DPhil, I am specifically interested in the cognitive basis of bird flight, whether it is a learnt behaviour, and how birds become proficient flyers throughout development.
