I am a community ecologist with a quantitative focus, interested in the structure and functioning of forest plant communities. My doctoral research explored the role of plant natural enemies in shaping tree community diversity. Currently, I am working on the Sabah Biodiversity Project to understand how tree diversity could affect the functioning of tropical forest ecosystems.
