I study proteasome complex in its many roles in protein homeostasis and regulation of cell development. To do this, I specialize in several mass spectrometry techniques, namely bottom-up and top-down proteomics and structural mass spectrometry. I joined the Bolla lab to study proteasome's role in the quality control of the proteins being imported into chloroplasts through the translocon complex.
