I completed my PhD in 2018 and continued working in Prof. Glenn Gibson's lab before joining the Foster lab.
My research is focused on the human gut microbiota: how diet such as supplementation and habitual diet can shape the microbiota change both in composition and metabolic activity; how gut bacteria's metabolism affect the host metabolism and health.
My current research is using anaerobic chemostat models to simulate the colonic environment for gut bacteria, therefore to understand what makes the bacteria community resistant to pathogens and antibiotic perturbation.
