I am a post-doctoral researcher in Microbiology, specialising in antibiotic discovery and evaluation in mycobacteria. My research aims to identify novel therapeutics for antibiotic-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis and to develop high-throughput screening platforms that can better predict in vivo outcomes from in vitro assays.

I completed my PhD at the University of Surrey, where I explored how the metabolic state of M. tuberculosis affects antibiotic susceptibility and, in some cases, can lead to antibiotic resistance. Prior to this, I worked at the UK Health Security Agency in the TB Drug Discovery and Evaluation group, supporting preclinical testing of new antimicrobials.
