Research Interests

My current project focused on the mechanistic aspects of chloroplast development (biogenesis of chloroplasts and other plastids) in plants.

I am Investigating SP1 and SP2 functional role to enhance the stress resilience in Rice crop plant, Furthermore, I am analyzing mutant rice plants and particularly Interested in relation to the import of nucleus-encoded proteins in chloroplast pathways which is not fully understand in crop plants. As world population increased and climate changing need to develop more innovative solution to feed population (which is not including animals and birds) as they also part of the food chain. Therefore highly interested to understand to genetic mechanism and protein development pathways.

Strong background in molecular biology, microscopy, and genetics and keen interest in Genetic engineering techniques.
