Research Interests

I am working on the development of data-driven mathematical models to better understand the transmission and evolution of avian influenza and other multi-strain pathogens along poultry production and distribution systems.

More generally, I am interested in the dynamics and ecology of interacting infectious diseases, with a particular focus on the role of host-related factors in shaping pathogen ecology.

My research work combines both analytical and computational tools in order to better understand the (multi-scale) dynamics of pathogens.
