Research Interests

My group studies how animals use vision to make decisions in complex, dynamic, and low signal-to-noise ratio environments. Our research connects behaviour, sensory biology, and cognition — focusing on how animals interpret and act on uncertain or incomplete visual information. Using behavioural experiments, fieldwork, and computational tools, we explore how sensory systems guide decision-making in complex, cluttered, and changing worlds.
