Research Interests

My pronouns are she/her

I am passionate about using cutting-edge technologies in conjunction with model organisms to comprehend specific aspects of fundamental biology.

During my PhD, I will conduct research on the freshwater flatworm Schmidtea mediterranea, commonly known as planarians. I am particularly interested in understanding how parenchymal cells interact with neurons, neoblasts (planarian adult stem cells), and other cell types. To achieve this, I will employ a combination of wet lab and bioinformatics techniques to generate single-cell transcriptomic data, enabling me to gain functional genomic insights at the single-cell level.

I am part of the Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership and funded by the BBSRC. If you would like to collaborate, please do not hesitate to contact me.
