Research Interests

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Department of Biology and the Oxford Martin School Pandemic Genomics Programme.

My research interests focus on the evolutionary genetics of emerging viruses, the effects of sparse genomic sampling on the inference of viral spread, and the integration of genomic, epidemiological and human mobility data to reconstruct epidemic trajectories. I am particularly interested in the early spread following pathogen emergence, spillover and introduction events into new geographical regions.
