Thesis title: Community ecology of biting insects: characterisation of biting insect-host interactions in malaria-endemic Ghana

My research interests lie in examining community ecology through the creation of interaction networks. My current focus is touse metabarcoding to establish insect-host biting interactions through the examination of extracted blood meals.

This will allow me to establish biting insect-host interactions and investigate the full range of co-occurring blood-sucking insects to establish competitive and host-parasite interactions within a community context.
