My main DPhil project is looking at Parhyale hwaiensis embryonic development, particularly prior to maternal to zygotic transition. I am interested in how and why transcriptomic asymmetry occurs particularly at the proteomic regulatory level. I am also interested in the regenerative neurobiology. I am particularly interested in how dopaminergic neuronal populations regenerate in planarians and other regenerative models.
