Innately curious about the world around us, my broad interests unite around the key theme of tackling the current crisis of antimicrobial resistance.
As such, my Master’s research project endeavours to identify novel antimicrobial compounds that can be used to aid in the treatment of drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Furthermore, my project entails the development and optimisation of various high-throughput screening techniques which can be used to screen these novel compounds.
