My main interest focuses on Chemistry and AI-guided crop resistance design.
- Apoplast manipulation of plants by microbes. I studied the dynamics of secreted plant hydrolases during infection using activity-based proteomics.
- Advanced AI methods for plant science. We used AlphaFold-Multimer predicts cross-kingdom interactions at the plant-pathogen interface.
- Crop resistance engineering. I identified several key genes, such as SKRP, SR30, RS2Z32, and eC14, that play important roles in plant immunity and hold strong potential for improving disease resistance in crops.
