I am fascinated by non-human animals and their social and cognitive characteristics and abilities.
I completed my BA in Philosophy and Psychology and MRes in Comparative Cognition at Durham University. For my DPhil, supervised by Professor Ben Sheldon, Dr. Josh Firth, and Dr. Ella Cole, I will be studying great tits (Parus major) at Wytham Woods in order to understand how and why cooperation arises and how it is maintained in social networks.
