I am interested in the topic of sexual selection and more specifically in drivers of sexual conflict and cooperation, particularly those related to differences in individual condition.
To explore these interests I am working as a DPhil candidate within the Pizzari group, primarily using the Red Junglefowl (Gallus gallus), the ancestor of the domestic chicken, to address my research questions. Before coming to Oxford, I studied at Durham University (BSc Biological Sciences) and Stockholm University (MSc Ethology). My Master’s thesis in Stockholm involved investigating aspects of male mate choice in the pygmy halfbeak (Dermogenys collettei).
