I'm generally interested in evolutionary ecology of social behaviour, mechanisms by which groups are initiated and maintained, and the consequences for individual group members. I apply a combination of observational, experimental, and comparative studies, and for my thesis, I use mixed-species flocks as a model system to address how social information use shapes association patterns in (mixed-species) groups.
