I am a Junior Research Fellow in the Oxford Tracking Group in the Department of Zoology, University of Oxford, and a Research Associate of Save the Elephants. My main research interests centre around movement ecology, animal behaviour and human-wildlife interactions, particularly of African savannah elephants. My DPhil research investigated modulations in movement by animals in homing pigeons and African savannah elephants.
Alongside my research, I have an avid interest in graduate student development and I have set up a mentoring programme for DPhil students in the Department of Zoology. I also published a career column in Nature providing tips to new graduate students on the “Twenty things I wish I'd known when I started my PhD”.
