Research Interests

An understanding of plant metabolic networks is crucial to our understanding of plant physiology and a necessity in the design of efficient engineering strategies for both agriculture and biotechnology.

I am working towards identifying the key pathways regulating sugar transport in plants using multicellular metabolic network models that are informed by transcriptome and metabolome data.

I received my PhD in applied mathematics with the Systems Biology Group at The University of Melbourne. I am currently a member of the Sweetlove Group.
