I am interested in evolutionary genetics of human populations, focusing on forces that contributed to shape the genetic variation across demes. Current projects explore the characterization of admixture processes occurred during the “Atlantic Slave Trade” and the “Bantu expansions”, with a particular attention to the interaction between Bantu-Speaking populations and Hunter-Gatherers.
