Research Interests

The conservation of species understood as the preservation of a dynamic system, influenced by multiple evolutionary processes and threatened by anthropic factors is my first motivation in research. I am interested in applying new tools in quantitative analysis and modelling, mainly in population genetics and ecology, to understand biodiversity and identify the most efficient measures for its conservation.
