Research Interests

I am working as part of the long-term individual-based study of feral horses on Sable Island, where I am examining the effects of variation in the social environment.

More specifically, I am studying the relationships between different aspects of the social environment (i.e. band characteristics and local population factors) and individual movement, physiology, and fitness to establish whether effects of the social environment on individual success are generating spatial and temporal variation in sex-specific survival.
